Geoffrey COTTENET obtained his Master degrees in Molecular Biochemistry and in Food Science and Technologies at AGROSUP high school (France). Since 2007, he has been working as a lead scientist at Nestlé Research in Lausanne, Switzerland, where he leads the development and validation of molecular methods for GMO and Authenticity topics. He is a member of working groups at the European Committee for Standardization and the International Organisation for Standardisation for GMO methods and for Species Identification methods.
