The Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST) – the professional membership body for food technical professionals and anyone with a passion for food science and technology will be the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) partner for this year’s Food Integrity Global. IFST in conjunction with New Food will be awarding CPD certificates to all attendees of Food Integrity Global based on the number of workshops and presentations you are attending.
Undertaking continuing professional development is a critical activity as part of your career growth and development and demonstrates to your employer, your peers and yourself that you are developing your skills and talents that will take you to the next level in your career journey.
Most companies operate a personal development review plan; recording your CPD in this plan is part of your annual review and reflection as to where your career is headed.
Joining IFST and one of their registers is a recognised and visible way to demonstrate pride in your profession and indicate the standard of expertise to which you are operating
They should be a mixture of learning activities relevant to your current or future practice.
