Adele Jones is Executive Director at the Sustainable Food Trust. She has been with the SFT since 2013 and now oversees the organisation’s strategic activities. In recent years, one of her major focuses has been the development of the Global Farm Metric – an internationally common framework for measuring on-farm sustainability. She is currently an advisor to the Scottish Government and in 2020 and 2019 respectively she undertook part time secondments with the Welsh and UK governments, working to develop metrics for monitoring farm support schemes. Adele has a background in geography and soil science.

This engaging panel discussion will see leading experts consider how the industry must adapt in order to not only be able to feed a continuously growing population, but also how to do so in a way that is both economically and environmentally sustainable. During this session, attendees will hear about the challenges of delivering a steady food supply that accommodates all and learn from prominent food leaders about what is being done to achieve this goal.
