Graduate in dietetics and Food&Business, both at the HAN University of Applied Science, and an MBA at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. 25+ years of experience in different positions in product / brand management in food, and now responsible for product development and product management of the Asian Foods category at Fairtrade Original. Fairtrade Original is a mission driven organisation fully committed to working together with farmers to enable them to earn a living income.

In the 13 years working for Fairtrade Original the Asian product line has grown from 11 products to over 40, mainly being sold in the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. Some of these products have been successful in the market for more than 10 years, each year adding more innovations to the range. Main focus of the Fairtrade Original products is of course Fairtrade certified ingredients, but also excellent taste, plant based and clean label. Fairtrade Original differentiates itself from other brand owners selling products with the Fairtrade mark by developing Fairtrade supply chains and adding on new Fairtrade ingredients where possible. Development in the full supply chain, from farmer to producer of the end products. Focus countries are Thailand, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, India, and Vietnam.
